Our Mason Stair Stepper bunk bed not only provides a safer alternative to a traditional bunk bed ladder but also includes a built in four drawer chest. Our unique design allows the staircase to go on either side of the bed, allowing the customer to set up the bed whichever way works best for them. The Merlot finish on a standard dark finish incorporates a mainly brown tone with a red highlight. It is a 4-step lacquered finish that is top-coated with a mild sheen. Often referred to as dark cherry, it works well with the traditional mission styling.

The stair section is reversible (the stairs can be placed on the left hand or right hand side of the bed). A slat kit is included, making this bed mattress ready. No need to purchase a bunkie board or box spring. The bed includes a staircase, four drawers and a magazine rack contained in a footprint that is slightly larger than a twin sized bed. bunk beds are tested and certified to meet the ASTM 1427-21 regulations set forth by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
